Written by Jakab András on .

One new map type (Viewshed Map) and several new functionalities such as improved geoprocessing tools, or graticule and grids were added to Surfer 13. Golden Software has again proved that customers are most important, as most of the new capabilities were added as a result of requests received from the users.

Surfer is a full-function contouring and surface modeling package that runs under Microsoft Windows. Surfer is used extensively for terrain modeling, bathymetric modeling, landscape visualization, surface analysis, contour mapping, watershed and 3D surface mapping, gridding, viewshed analysis, volumetrics, and much more.
